Read, compare, track & reject

Barcode verification with automatic rejection

Stop the wrong or unreadable code from reaching dispatch. We connect barcode readers and verification logic to controlled reject handling for individual packs, cartons and cases.

The inspection result is only useful when the right product leaves the line.

A code can be present but still be wrong for the product, unreadable at the next process or inconsistent with a work order. Barcode integration can check data content, format, readability and product-to-label matching before releasing the pack downstream.

The failed item is tracked from the read point to the reject station. Multi-sided or orientation-variable products may use several readers or a controlled presentation zone, while event outputs can be provided to higher-level line or traceability systems where required.

How our integration works →
Typical pass / fail criteria

Decisions the reject system can act on.

The final inspection capability depends on the selected equipment, product presentation and agreed acceptance criteria. Sample trials are used where practical.

✓Barcode presence
✓Readability or no-read
✓Correct data content
✓Product-to-label match
✓QR or Data Matrix result
✓Serial or batch comparison
Engineered as one sequence

From detection signal to independently confirmed removal.

01

Reliable presentation

Guiding and product control keep the code inside the reader field of view.

02

Data decision

Expected values, job data or agreed database interfaces define pass and fail.

03

Tracked rejection

The exact failed pack is removed and optionally logged or verified.

Specification questions

Before we design the reject station.

Product samples, line drawings and a short production video help us identify the best next step.

Can the system compare a barcode with the current product?+

Yes. Expected code data can be recipe-controlled or supplied through an agreed line or database interface.

Can you read Data Matrix and QR codes?+

Yes, using suitable industrial readers and lighting. Code size, surface, speed and presentation are confirmed through trials.

What happens to a no-read product?+

A no-read can be treated as a fail and the product tracked to the automatic reject station.
